The Rod Retrieval tool is one of those tools that you hope you will never need but know you will need at some point.
This tool is designed specifically to remove stuck rods from drainpipes.
Have you ever come across someone else’s or even had a rod come undone down a drain before? If you haven’t it’s only a matter of time until you do.
Most people are left wondering how to get these back out or just leave site with them in there and hope for no call backs until its someone else’s problem.
But with this simple but very effective tool you can remove rods as easily as they got stuck.
The front face has been machined to accept a piece of wire trace that comes at 7 metres long but can be extended with rope if the rods are further downstream, then all you need to do is send it down there until you are over the stuck rods and pull on the wire trace which will pull tight onto the stuck drain rods and then you can pull them straight back out.
The grip on this is extremely tight, if you don’t believe me come in and have a try, we can challenge you to a tug of war using this tool pulled over a rod and I guarantee the Rod Retrieval Tool will come out on top!!
