Ever lost a nylon or carbide brush down a drain?
The reason for this is that the screws which hold the brush to the shaft are made from plastic. Over tightening them can cause them to strip the thread of the screws which mount the brush to the shaft.
A brush lock mounts to your flexible shaft with the purpose of keeping your brush from slipping from the shaft. The stainless steel locks will clamp onto the shaft and prevent the brushes from slipping off.
The lock uses hex screws to mount to the shaft.
Please note that we sell them individually, so if you need a lock on either side of the brush, then you would need to order two. Can be used in conjunction with a wire brush too. Feedback from clients indicates that some clients add a brush lock to the front of their chains (without a drill head) to give the chain a bevelled surface when navigating around elbows in drain pipes.
