Croco Mole

The main purpose for this tool is for reinstatement of junctions that have been lined over during the pipe lining process. However, this same tool is perfect for grinding up solid blockages. This is our most aggressive fitting for a flexible shaft, and yet it is suitable for PVC pipes too. It will grind up root intrusion faster than a standard chain since the cutting edge is facing forward, and there is less possibility of getting finer roots trapped between the chain links. The Croco Mole is similar to the standard drill head, but this fitting has the same hard metal bits as our Croco chains.

The teeth are set in the front and rear of the fitting, and not on the side, so the tools is suitable for in PVC, cast iron, cement, brass, and vitrified clay pipes. Use in conjunction with the Circular Chain, a regular chain without a drill head, or even the Nylon brushes as the solution to a wide range of applications.

The number of hard metal panels vary depending on the size you choose. Made to fit an 8mm (1/3") - 10mm (2/5") and 12mm (1/2") flexible shafts. The bores have diameters which vary from 30mm (1.2") - 40mm (1.6") - 50mm (2")
