Lightweight - Croco Chain With Drill Head (Cast Iron & Clay Pipes)

The Croco Cleaning Chain (with drill head), is an adjustable grinding chain with a crown drill head.

Designed for pipes with a diameter from Ø75mm (3″) to Ø250mm (10″). Developed for aggressive cleaning and failed liner removal. Equipped with hard carbide teeth, to shred through tough obstacles. The Croco Chain is a tool developed for aggressive cleaning of sewer pipes.

This chain has hard metal teeth fused to the chain links which shred through tough obstacles. The drill head provides extra teeth facing the direction in which the shaft is moving. This makes the chain best suited for root removal and grinding up solid blockages.

The tool uses centrifugal force to centre itself within the pipe so you can be assured that the entire inner surface of the pipe is clean. This chain is similar to the X-tip, but the difference is in the shape of the hard bits. The teeth of the croco chain have a cross pattern which is perfect for preparation of pipe work for the lining process.

It is adjustable and has been manufactured from stainless steel links to prevent oxidation

Each chain consists of 3 individual chains. ( with the exception of the smaller diameter pipes) Perfect for rust removal, calcium build-up and tree root removal in plumbing pipes and simultaneously suitable for grinding obstacles in cast iron, concrete, copper, vitrified clay and steel pipes.

The opening diameter of the drill head is 25mm (1”), which is then followed by the diameter of the chain size you have chosen.

The chain mounts to a 6mm (1/4"), 8mm (5/16"),10mm (3/8"), 12mm (1/2") flexible shaft with hex screws. Sizes range from Ø50mm (2″) to Ø250mm (9,8″) Points to note: These products are intended to be used by trained professionals in the sewer cleaning trade.
