Lightweight - Plain Chain With Drill Head (PVC Pipes)

Whilst this chain is intended for use in PVC (ABS) pipes, it has the added advantage of a crown drill head in the front. With this chain, you can cut roots, or grind up a failed liner within a PVC pipe whilst preventing damage to the pipe wall.

The chain does not have hard carbide bits which could be too aggressive for PVC (ABS) or similar materials, yet the head gives the advantage of a cutting edge with forward thrust. It is made from stainless steel to prevent oxidation and uses centrifugal force to center the tool inside the pipe.

The chain is adjustable, and mounts easily to an 8mm (5/16") ,10mm (3/8") & 12mm (1/2") flex shaft, with set screws. Suitable for cleaning PVC pipes from 50mm (2”) to 200mm (8") depending on which size you choose.

The opening diameter of the drill head is 25mm (1") The unit has three individual chains per set and is manufactured from 4mm thick stainless steel links.

Disadvantage - The crown drill head is aggressive, and could damage a PVC (ABS) pipe bend or elbow. Preferably use on straight runs or start cleaning after you have navigated past the bend.
